Mary Jane Culbreath Hardy (Hutcheson), a native of Columbia County, Georgia, daughter of Eddie Stevens Culbreath and Geneva Quattlebaum Culbreath, entered into her eternal rest on Tuesday evening, August 25, 2026 at The Tignall House, in Tignall, Georgia.

Mary, is survived by her 4 children: James R. Hardy, Thomas B. Hardy, Diana (Hutcheson) Bland and Myra (Hutcheson) Grigg; 10 grandchildren: John Hardy, Jamie (Hardy) Wiggins, Julia Hardy, Warren Sims, Jeremy Mills, Shelby Cranford, Carol Ann Hutcheson, Taylor Morris, Edward Grigg and Joie Grigg.She is also survived by her brother Thomas D. Weeks, sister-in-law Sylvia Weeks, brother-in-law Larry R. Wilson, sister-in-law Shannon (Hardy) Mitchell, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Martha C. Wilson and 2 husbands; James D. 'Pete' Hardy and Eddie D. Hutcheson.

A memorial service for Mrs Mary Hardy will be held at a later date.Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, GA 30643.
