Marv Thorton ""Marv"" Cobb

Mr. Marvin Thorton "Marv" Cobb, age 58, of Bowersville, GA. passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Born October 5, 1962 he was the son of the late Marvin Thorton Cobb Sr. He was a avid drummer.

Marv is survived by his mother; Loretta Vaughn Cobb of Hartwell, GA and three sons; Kaleb Cobb of Bowersville, GA, Noah Cobb of Lavonia,GA, and Zach Mitchell of Bowman, GA. In addition he is survived by his spouse of 10 years Jamie Mitchell of Bowman, GA, and two grandsons; Kathen and Ayden Cobb.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 1:00 P. M. 3:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with the Rev. Sean Payne officiating, cremation will follow.

All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell, GA.
