Mr. Marty Timothy “Tim” Fowler, age 69, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, October 17, 2025. Born on August 11, 1956, in Royston, Georgia, Tim was the beloved son of the late Watson and Gladys (Adams) Fowler.
A man of strong faith, Tim was a devoted member of Old Pathway Baptist Church. He lived a life marked by quiet strength, a generous heart, and an unwavering work ethic. A skilled welder by trade, Tim also found joy and creativity in woodworking and building model cars—hobbies that reflected his patience and craftsmanship.
Tim was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Sosby; his sister, Kathy Fowler; and his niece, Shelby Elrod. Though his absence leaves a deep void, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Susan Gail (Sims) Fowler, who stood by his side through every chapter of life. Also left to honor his memory is his son, William Fowler; his sister, Carol Mooneyham; and his sister-in-law, Melanie Booth. Tim was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life: Paisley Sosby, Parker Sosby, Ezra Burgess, and Sailor Farrow. He also leaves behind one nephew and four nieces who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Tim’s life on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Old Pathway Baptist Church, 70 Lankford Road, Bowersville, GA 30516. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Tim will be laid to rest in the church cemetery, a place of peace and faith that meant so much to him.
