Mark Eugene Keown, age 61, of Elberton, GA passed away on February 23, 2026 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Mark loved spending time with his father and enjoyed fishing. Mark is preceded in death by his mother Mary (Welborn) Keown. Mark is survived by his father Norbert Autry Keown and brother David Keown. There are no formal services at this time and per Mark's wishes a cremation will take place.
