Mark Bailey

Mr. Mark Bailey, age 60, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

He was born in Hartwell, GA on November 13, 1962. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed as a security guard at Rose Acre Farms. He loved his best friend and riding partner (dog Scout) and was seldom seen without Scout in the truck with him.

Left to cherish his memories; his parents Horace (Duck) Bailey and Joyce Todd Bailey of Hartwell, his brother Mike Segars (Katherine Stoyle) of Hartwell, Sisters Dana Gray (Tim) of Hartwell, Darlene Cordell (Tommy) of Toccoa, Pam McCrary (Phil) of Quincy, FL, Donna Matra (Dan) of Hoschton, Penny Crooks (Tony Phillips) of Danielsville, and Michelle Currie of Tallahassee FL, and brother in law Troy Crooks.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Brenda O'Barr Plunkett and brother, Kenny William Bailey.

A funeral service celebrating Mark's life will be held on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Mr. Fred Greenway will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Reed Creek Baptist Church cemetery in Hartwell.

Family members will be at the home of Horace "Duck" Bailey,  1688 Boleman Hill Road in Hartwell.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
