Mrs. Marion Carol Long Quick, age 71 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026 surrounded by her family. 

She was born in Wiesbaden Germany on April 27, 1955 to the late William Long and Lucy Smith Long. She was a talented artist and enjoyed painting. She was a very giving & caring person with a great sense of humor. She had a beautiful voice for singing and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Marion worked for the USDA for 10 years and Walmart for 17 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Barry Quick, children: Michael Quick (Natalie C.), - McDonough, David Quick (Rachael) - Cumming, Stephen Quick - Portland Oregon, James Quick - Hartwell, Two brothers: Patrick Long, Clyde Long, Grandchildren: Noah Quick, Gaven Quick, Hudson Quick , Colton Quick, Kaedence Quick, Holden Quick.

Funeral services for Marion Quick will be Saturday September 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service from 11:00 - 2:00 at the funeral home just prior to the service.
