Marcine Swilling

Mrs. Marcine Simpson Swilling, age 72 of 3795 Highway 17, Canon, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

She was born on February 22, 1948 in Lavonia, Ga., to the late Benjamin Simpson and Fannie Neal Simpson. She was retired from the garment industry and of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Monica (Stanley) Bolden of Canon, Ga., and Bridgette Ferguson of Royston, Ga. A host of siblings and other family members survive.

Funeral home going services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Pastor B.A. Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery in Lavonia, Ga. The family will hold a visitation Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the family of Mrs. Swilling.
