Mrs. Loutessue (Johnson) Teasley, age 67, of Lavonia, Georgia, passed away peacefully in the late evening hours of Friday, March 20, 2026. Born on October 13, 1958, in Hartwell, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Henry Johnson and Mary Shirley McCurry Johnson.
Loutessue will be fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit, her athletic ability, and the joy she found in playing softball. She brought energy and warmth to those around her, leaving lasting memories with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Nathaniel Teasley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Tiffany Teasley and Trevella Teasley, godson Tristian Johnson; her cherished granddaughter, Mo’Neysha Hill; her siblings, Sharon Rucker, Mary Merriett (Eddie), Clementine Johnson, James Herman Johnson (Sherry), and Marcus Antonio; as well as her godbrother, Rev. Tracy Curry, and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life honoring Mrs. Teasley will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 East Johnson Street, Hartwell, Georgia 30643.
In the words of our Lord and Savior, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors to assist the family with funeral expenses.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of Tiffany Teasley, 306 Boston Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29625.
