Loretta Seymour Hamlin, age 96 of Hartwell Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024 at Rainey Hospice House. She was born in Elbert County Georgia to the late John Timothy Seymour and Evie Phelps Seymour. She was a nurse and EMT and latter was a medical office manager. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. She was a past president of Hart County Cancer Society and also former treasurer of AARP. She enjoyed many roles at her church including choir, helping with Bible School and Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Marvin C. Hamlin, and Frank DiMarco, son Vincent DiMarco, her brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Jody (Sandy) DiMarco of Bowersville, Ga, and Kelsey DiMarco of Lavonia, Ga, four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
A family cryptside service is planned for Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 am at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
