Lessie Lillian Taylor
Ms. Lessie Lillian Mills Taylor, age 95 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 2, 2024.
She was born February 22, 1929 in Charlotte, N.C., to the late Leroy Mills and Emma Moore Mills. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening and nature and you could often find her feeding birds.
Left to cherish her memories are; her children, Delores Ann Hagan and Carolyn Sue Sands, Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John C. Taylor and three siblings.
The family has chosen cremation and she will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida at a later date.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
