Lawrence (Bubba) Allen Wilson Jr.

 Mr. Lawrence (Bubba) Allen Wilson Jr. age 84 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026. 

He was born on May 27, 1942 in Atlanta, Ga. to the late Lawrence Allen Wilson Sr. and Mary Evelyn Doles Wilson. He was of the Baptist faith and attended First Baptist of Hartwell, Ga.

 He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce Hammitt Wilson, sons: Brad Allen Wilson of Social Circle, Ga., Lawrence Scott Wilson of Hartwell Ga., and Drew Stephan Wilson of Fort Mill SC., Five Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Siblings: Gail Milner, Dean Wilson, and Steve Wilson. He was pre deceased by his parents.  

He graduated from The University of Georgia and pursued a career in insurance with Allstate Insurance Company. He loved his Georgia Bulldogs, hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his loving family.

Lawrence wishes were to be cremated. His family will hold a visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson St., Hartwell, Ga.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
