Lavonne Ruth Cole

Ms. Lavonne Ruth Cole, age 80 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Born on October 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late DeVon Cole and Constance Hagberg Mamalis. Lavonne was a avid reader who enjoyed her time on and around beautiful Lake Hartwell. She was employed with Delta Airlines with over forty years of service as a computer programmer, and was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

In addition to her parents Lavonne is preceded in death by her brother Peter Cole.

Left to cherish her memory is her partner Mary Deming, and brother Kenneth Cole.

Per Lavonne's wishes no formal services will be held
