Kenneth Wilder

Kenneth "Kenny" Wilder age 51 of Hartwell, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023.  

He was born in Gary, Indiana on April 20, 1972 to the late Delores Brisco.  He was well loved by the community in Hartwell Ga where he worked at the local Huddle House. Kenny was known for always greeting everyone with a smile and willingness to help anyone that needed him. He was an accomplished gardener and kept all of the flowers and plants watered and beautiful, a love that was passed on to him by his Grandmother.  He was known also for building electric powered bikes which he used for travel to and from work and places locally.  He loved the Lord first and foremost and that love shown through him every day. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed visiting local churches.

He was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Delores Brisco, his Grandmother Birdie Brisco, and his Great Uncle Wilson Hollingsworth.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Desiree Phelps; his son Kaleb, his sister Kristian "Chrissy" (Xavier) Burks;  his Uncle Carl (Rosa) Brisco; Aunt Velma Hawkins; Great Aunt Callie Hollingsworth; grandchildren Gabriella and Anais Carreia; a host of cousins; his special friends, George (Angela) Dioguardi, Jack and Janice Martin, neighbor Bobbie Long, and Ness.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Family will receive friends at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors from 12:00-1:00 pm.

The family has requested that donations be made to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors to help with funeral expense.
