Mrs. Karen Gail Motes Perry, age 75 of Liberty Hill Road in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at AnMed Health.

She was born on March 19, 1945 in Toccoa, Ga., to the late William I. Motes and Rosa Lee Roberts Motes. Gail was a graduate of Brenau University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was an educator, and had worked in long term nursing in her later years. Gail was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Bible Study Class, UMW and Choir. She loved her family and all that she came in contact with.

She is survived by; her children, Regan (Michele) Richardson of Hartwell, Ga., David (Michelle) Richardson of KY and Vickie Richardson, brother, Sidney (Patsy) Motes of Toccoa, Ga., grandchildren, Jamie Richardson, Marly Alvarado, Sierra McKinney, Cody Richardson, Talon Richardson and Auggie Richardson and great-grandchildren, Silas Alvarado and Rowan McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Perry and brother, Myles Motes.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Three o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Cokesbury UMC Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will be at Reagan and Michele Richardson's home on Liberty Hill Road.

The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations to conduct services for Mrs. Gail Perry.
