It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kalvin Dale Ravnell, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on November 12, 2025, at the age of 56.

Kalvin was a man of great warmth and kindness, known for his unwavering love and commitment to those around him. He cherished spending time with his beloved wife, Doreatha Geter, and took immense pride in being a devoted father to his son, James Geter and daughter, Krystale Corner (Adron Corner). Family meant everything to Kalvin, and he formed deep bonds with his siblings: Joseph Ravnell, Nathaniel Ravnell, Curtis Ravnell, Stewart Ravnell, Jeffrey Mattox, and his sister Fosteaner Ravnell. His memory will also be honored by his sister Denise Oglesby and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Kalvin was preceded in death by his Mother Stella Ravnell, Father Kendrell Ravnell Sr., and brother Kendrel Ravnell Jr.

Kalvin Dale Ravnell will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

The family would like to extend an invitation to Kalvin's extended family and friends to a Celebration of Life which will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
