Julie Ann Haley, age 54 of Hartwell GA, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026 surrounded by her family at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens GA.
She was born on June 16, 1971 in Russellville, Kentucky to Harold Edward Allen and the late Judy Darlene Wilson Allen. Julie was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she served as assistant church treasurer and where she enjoyed preparing breakfast every Sunday morning for her contemporary adult Sunday School class. Julie was the owner of Property Source Pros and worked as an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Fort Realty. Julie fulfilled her education at the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and was a "sweetheart" of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. While at the University of Georgia, Julie found two of the greatest loves of her life, her husband Jeremy and UGA Athletics. Julie founded and directed the Georgia District 7 Challenger Baseball League to provide the joy of sports participation to all children regardless of the challenges in life any child experienced. Julie dedicated her life to helping others and could brighten anyone's day with her infectious smile and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Judy Allen and her brother Michael
Allen.
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Jeremy Haley of Hartwell GA, her father Harold Allen of Russellville, KY, her brother Dewayne Allen, brother in law, Jonathan Haley and wife Amy of Richmond Hill, GA, her father and mother in law Jerry and Susan Haley of Hartwell, GA , six nieces and nephews including , Caitlyn Allen, Matthew Allen, Bella Haley, Lawson Haley, and her beloved fur babies, Minnie, Brantley, and Spencer.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2 ,2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors Chapel with the Reverend Terry James officiating. Pall Bearers are Brian Henry, Gilbert Mayfield, Allen Perry, Jonathan Haley. Jimmy Fortson and Dewayne Allen. Julie will lie in repose Friday, April 3, 2026 at Rock Springs Baptist Church from 3:00 - 5:00 for family and friends final respects and farewell, Julie will be laid to rest at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery during a private
service at a later date.
