Johnny Bryan Clark, 55, of Hartwell, GA. went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2026. Johnny was born on March 20, 1970, in Decatur, GA, at DeKalb General Hospital to the late John Aubrey Clark and Carol Davis Clark South. His drive and talent for baseball led him to outstanding catching performances for the Parkview High School Panthers in Lilburn, GA, where he played from 1985 to 1988. Johnny was a proud service member of the United States of America, serving passionately as a Corporal in the U.S. Marines, winning multiple awards and recognitions throughout his time in the Marine Corps.
After his time in service, Johnny worked at Tenneco, where he was an integral part of the Inventory Control team. He was of the Baptist faith, known to lean on God during his times of trouble, as well as celebrate and rejoice with the Father in his times of joy and triumph. May his soul continue to rest in the healing hands of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Johnny is survived by his loving brothers, Randall S. Clark of Loganville, Kevin D. Clark (Melinda Clark) of Toccoa, GA, and his stepfather, Robert N. South. Johnny is also survived by his nephew Seth Clark (Katie Flynn Clark) and nieces Sydney Clark, Haley Clark, and Shelby Cromer.
Johnny’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life, open to family and friends of Johnny will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E.
