Joe Sorrow, Jr.

Mr. Joe "William" Sorrow, Jr. age 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.William was born on February 6, 1962 in Athens, GA to the late Joe Sorrow, Sr. and Mildred (Alewine) Sorrow. William was a of the Baptist faith and was a Heavy Equipment Operator.

 In addition to his parents William is preceded in death by his sons Ricky Hamilton and Kevin Sorrow. Brothers Ronnie Sorrow, Doug Sorrow, and sisters Mary Shellnut, Rhonda Sorrow, Wanda Sorrow.

William is survived by his son JJ Sorrow (Amber) of Bowman, GA and Justin Sorrow (Megan) of Comer, GA. Twelve grandchildren and Two great- grand children. 

A service to celebrate Williams life will be held at a later date. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, GA 30643.
