Joe Mathis Sayer

Mr. Joe Mathis Sayer, age 58 of Kennesaw, Ga., formerly of Hartwell, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Wellstar  Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.

He was born on August 20, 1963, in Hartwell, GA. to the late Joe Dalton Sayer.

Mr. Sayer was employed with UPS with over 35 years service and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Carnes Sayer, siblings; Phyllis (James) Alexander of Clarkesville, GA., Johnny Sayer of Toccoa, GA., Steve (Lisa) Sayer of Hartwell, GA., and Benjie Sayer of Bowersville, GA.

Funeral services for Mr. Sayer will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 2pm, in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Scott Collett will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
