Mr. Joe Roger Bennett, Jr., age 55 of Browns Bridge Road, Bowman, Ga., passed peacefully on Sunday morning, March 22, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional.
He was born on January 13, 1965 in Franklin County. He was owner/operator of Georgia Southern Stone Interior Granite Co. and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by; his father, Joe Roger Bennett, Sr., of Bowman, Ga., sister, Sheila Bennett of Hull, Ga., brother, Ryan Bennett and his wife, Alicia of Bowman, Ga. his uncle, Ray Dudley, nieces, Brianna, Alexa and Madalyn Bennett and great-nephew, Slade McLendon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Hart Bennett, grandparents, Jep Bennett and Myrt Bennett, Alford Hart and Cora Lee Hart.
The family will hold a graveside service at the Bennett Family Cemetery in Bowman. The date and time will be announced.
