Jo Ann Dove Freeman Hart, age 85 of Hartwell GA, passed away at Hartwell Health and Rehabilitation with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Franklin County Georgia on April 18, 1940 to the late Norman Dove and Vonnie Sue Osley Dove. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Royston. She worked at Johnson and Johnson and retired as a former swab operator. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Henry Freeman and Bill Hart, her parents Norman and Vonnie Sue, son Pete Freeman, sister Mary Alice Hammonds, brother Norman Dove and great-granddaughter, Alexis Paige "Lexi" Bryan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Diane "Sissy" Bailey and Terry Bailey, siblings, John R Dove of Greenville SC, Robert Dove of Canon GA, and Thomas Dove of Lavonia GA , grandchildren, Adam Bailey (Katie) and Jeanieanne Bond (Eddie), great-grandchildren, Logan Tatum, Jackson Tatum, Joseph Bailey, Chastity Love (Matt), Makala Vickery (Hunter), Timothy Love, Paige Bryan (Chase), Levi Bryan and Riley Love, great-great grandchildren, Garrison Vickery, Kamden Vickery, Keagan Fortson, Waylon Vickery, Mallarie Vickery, Stetson Dalton, and Hoyt Vickery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors . Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Coile and Hall with Reverends Duane Hall and Andy Huff officiating with Wesley Dove. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston GA. The family will be at the home of Jeanieanne Bond, 34 Bell Street,  Hartwell GA 30643.
