Jerry Thurmond Staton, age 75 of Bowman, GA, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Linwood Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Clermont, GA. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Odis Thomas and Harriett Thurmond Staton. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea & Jimmy Hinson, Jill & Thomas Haney, and daughter, Debbie Staton; son, Kevin Staton; grandchildren, Kayla, Kain, Tori, grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Gage & Kenzi; great grandsons, Rayden and Dakota; brother, Larry Staton; several nieces and nephews as well as his former spouse, Faye Staton.
