Jerry Sanders

Mr. Jerry Robert Sanders, age 62 of 420 Chandler Street in Hartwell went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, Ga.

He was born on October 14, 1957 in Anderson, S.C. to the late Bennie Sanders and Willie Blanche Carnes Sanders. He was a retired mechanic having worked for John Deere. Jerry enjoyed working on lawn mowers and loved to buy and sell items. He was a member of Price Chapel Church of God.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Wayne Sanders of Hartwell, and preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry will lie in state at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 2-3 p.m. for those that would like to pay their respects. Due to the health concerns and well being of our community the family will not have a formal funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Garden of Prayer.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the family of Jerry R. Sanders.
