Mr. Jerry Ray Hill, age 53 of 1011 B. Bailey Road, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 6, 1965 in Commerce, Ga. He was a Grocer and loved to fish and hunt. Jerry was a member of the Hartwell Church of Christ.
He is survived by; his wife, Shari Cravens Hill of the home, children, Chris Hill of Hartwell, Ga., Todd Hill of Lula, Ga., John Hill of Millen, Ga., step-children, Joshua McArthur, Nashville, TN, Mary Buetel, New Albany, IN, and Amy Rounsaville of Athens, Ga., brothers, Danny Hill, Bobby Hill and Terry Hill, sister, Annette Bowles. Ten grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Hill and Hilda Mathis Hill.
Services celebrating Jerry's life will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. John Massey and Aubrey Prestridge will officiate. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 1-3 just prior to the service. The family ask that all attendees wear casual clothing. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the family. The family will be at the home.
