Mrs. Jennifer Elaine Sanders Gaines, age 54 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026 at her home.

She was born on December 2, 1971 in Royston, Ga. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother and the most tender hearted person in the family, loved watching the sunrise and sunset and she loved to fish, watch butterflies and dragonflies and was a fierce momma bear when it came to her children. She will be missed by her family and friends. 

Left to cherish her memory are; her mother, Emily Charlene Bobo Sanders, husband, Ricky Dale Gaines, sons, Avery (Samantha) Gaines, Able (Deseree) Gaines, siblings, Preston Sanders, Jason Allen Sanders and Virginia Sanders along with three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Sanders.

The family has chosen cremation and will host a memorial at a later time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
