Mr. Jeffery Dana "Jeff" Roper, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA. Jeff was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Jeff worked as a Carpenter. Jeff was a devoted husband, loving father and Pop, and in Jeff's own words he will be remembered as a "Happy go lucky guy".

Jeff was born on July 4, 1963 in Hartwell, GA, to the late Jack Roper and his mother Frances (Greenway) Roper.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Glenda (Dill) Roper, four children, Leslie (Johnny) Lathan, Dustin (Crystal) McDuffie, JJ (Rona) Roper, Jessica (Bryson) Miller. Sister Terri (Kyle) Burden. Grandchildren; Dylan and Molly McDuffie, Cameron and Case Lathan, and Charlie and Jack Roper.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 3:00PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and fellowship following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Jeff's Honor may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of Frances Roper 87 Whitehall Street Hartwell, GA 30643.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA.
