Ruth Moore

Mrs. Janie "Ruth" Moore age 88 of Hartwell, GA passed away early Tuesday Morning, June 16, 2026 at Hartwell Health and Rehab. Born Feburary 28, 1938 in Hartwell, GA she was the daughter of the late Wilton and Ethel (Holbrook) Moore. Ruth was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, and until her health declined regularly attended Oak Bower Baptist Church. She worked at LHP Corp for over 30 years. Ruth loved country music and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.

In addition to her parents Ruth is preceded in death by her brothers Louie Moore, Joseph "Bo" Moore, Curtis Moore, James "Shorty" Moore, and WC Moore. Sisters Carolyn Moore and Beth Moore.

Ruth is survived by her brother Kenneth Moore (Pam) of Hartwell, GA as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Ruth will be laid to rest privately at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

The family is at their respective homes.
