James Winford Shaw
Mr. James Winford Shaw, age 74 of Joe Bailey Road in Hartwell, widower of Janice Vaughn Shaw went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at AnMed Health.
He was born on May 2, 1946 to the late Boyd Shaw and Mary Haney Shaw. He retired from Tenneco Automotive and was a Nascar fan. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Veteran
He is survived by; sons, Scott and Jeff Shaw, both of Hartwell, Jarrett (Bessie) Shaw of Starr, S.C., and Brandon Shaw of Walhalla, S.C., sisters, Linda Christian and Lola Jane Coleman both of Hartwell. Grandchildren, Nicole Sharpton, Maya Shaw, Kara Shaw, and Landon Shaw and great-grandchild, Rhett Sharpton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Shaw was cremated and the family will host a memorial service at a later date at his home.
The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell to arrange his services.
