Mr. Jack "Tanner" Bowers, age 32, of Hartwell, GA passed away on January 26, 2026 at Cherry Dale Post Acute Care in Greenville, SC.

Tanner was born on April 5, 1994 in Anderson, SC, to the late Timothy Tolbert, and mother Kimberly Lash. Tanner worked in the metal manufacturing industry and was a graduate of Franklin County High School. Tanner enjoyed spending time with his family but most of all, his son. In addition to his father Timothy Tolbert Tanner is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley Jack Bowers and Danny and Patsy Carpenter.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother and step father Hope and Timothy Lash of Hartwell, GA. Son Preston Bowers of Hartwell, GA. Siblings Kimberly Tolbert (Dustin Bratcher) of Gainesville, GA, Mitchell (Kimmie) of Maryville, TN. Nephews Colton Bratcher, Jaiden Tolbert and Niece Olivia Tolbert. Grandparents Linda and Samuel Peek. As well as a host of aunts, uncles and beloved family members.

 A celebration of Tanner's life will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bowman Church of God.

 The family is at their respective homes.
