Mr. Howard Cawthon, age 84 of Liberty Hill Church Road in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 15, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
He was born on July 8, 1936 to the late Buren Cawthon and Selma Swift Cawthon in Franklin County. He was retired from the textile industry and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Cawthon was a veteran of the United States Army.
Howard Cawthon is survived by his friend; Ruth Moore, stepson; Ricky Baskins of Carnesville, GA., one step grandchild. He is preceded in death by his siblings; Gladys Gibson and Agnes Richardson.
Funeral services for Mr. Cawthon will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at three o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Garden of Prayer.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
