Helen Agnew

Mrs. Helen Monaghan Agnew, age 73, of 57 Rockdale Rd in Canon, GA, entered into rest, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Billy Agnew.

Born in Oxford, MS on April 1, 1943, she was the daughter of Robert and Christine Monaghan. She was a homemaker and attended Price Chapel Church of God.

Surviving are her children Terry Agnew of Hartwell, Rudy Agnew and his wife Kathy of Savannah, Rodney Agnew of Chula Vista, CA, Belinda Roper of Canon, GA; brother: Samuel Monaghan of Lake Placid, FL; grandchildren: Brandon Agnew, Amber Risner, Leslie and Johnny Lathan, Jessica and Bobby Jones, J.J. and Rona Roper, Ben Agnew, Brad and Rachael Agnew, Scott and Nicki Agnew, Brittany Agnew; great grandchildren: Cameron Lathan, Alan Jones, Maeleigh Agnew, Kammie Jones, Peyton Agnew, Mahayla Agnew, Charlie Roper, Paisley Agnew, Case Lathan; two borrowed grandchildren Trinity Bowers and KJ Wharton; as well as two beloved pets Kiki and Shug. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Velma Williams, and brother, Junior Monaghan.

A celebration of life service will be held on August 13, 2016 at 11 o’clock in the chapel of Coile-Hall-Spagnoli Funeral Home, 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, GA 30643.
