Hazel Welborn

Ms. Hazel Jann Jordan Welborn, age 86 of Melody Lane in Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on February 26, 1937 in Hartwell to the late Lesher Jordan and Buiest Motes Jordan. Hazel was a well known business woman and was co-owner of Greer Furniture Company for many years. Hazel was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memories are; her children, Debi Hughes (Barney Johnson), and Lisa (Adon) Hoffman, all of Hartwell, Ga., sister, Patsy (Billy) Jordan Maxwell and Charles William (Mary Donna) Jordan, grandchildren, Jonathan Mouchet (Meghan), Logan and Landon Hoffman and one great-grandchild, Cash Mouchet. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Frances Brown.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Mr. Thomas Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Family members will be at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
