Harry Gene Griffin

Mr. Harry Gene Griffin, age 82 of Martin GA, passed away at his home on October 22, 2023.

He was born on April 11, 1941 in Hartwell. He was a well known brickmason and woodworker all of his life. He was a man who loved his family.

Harry is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Brenda M. Griffin, his grandson in-law Tony Olaes, and all of his siblings.

He is survived by his children Edna Mulkey, Gene Griffin, and Gray Burchett, granchildren; Tammy Olaes and Jeremy Underwood of Commerce, GA, Tonya and Russell Conn of Toccoa, GA, Andrew Mulkey of Westminister, SC, Josh, Katie and Joe Griffin of Walhalla, SC, great grandchildren; Maverick and Jessica Olaes of Hartwell, GA, Kenny and Kaila Olaes of Hartwell, GA, Alec Olaes of Hartwell, GA,  Dalton Conn and Hannah Gettys of Toccoa, GA, Hannah Conn of Toccoa, GA, and Araya Underwood "Toot Bug", of Commerce,  great-great grandchildren; Tony Jayce Olaes, Jameson Olaes, Logan Olaes, Nicholas Olaes, and many many more.

The family will be at the home Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm to receive friends. Flowers can be sent to the home.

According to his wishes, Mr. Griffin will be cremated and no service is scheduled at this time.
