Harold Lester Chastine
Mr. Harold Lester Chastine, age 83 of Early Drive in Hartwell, Ga., went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
He was a native of Riverdale, Ga., and was born to the late Fred Leroy Chastine and Nellie Marcella Isabella Chastine on July 14, 1938. He was a retired electrician in the construction industry and a member of local IBEW Local #613. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Baptist by faith.
Left to cherish his memories are; son, John (Robyn) Chastine of Hartwell, Ga., brother, Henry Joe (Linda) Chastine of Stockbridge, Ga., grandchildren, Michael (Heather) Chastine of Hartwell, Ga., Patrick Chastine, Jacksonville, FL., Colby Brown, Hartwell, Ga., Zackary Oliver, Elijay, Ga. Jennifer McDowell, Newnan, Ga. along with great-grandkids, nieces and nephews along with his furbaby Snoopy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy Ann Chastine, daughter, Marcy James, granddaughter, Megan James, brothers, Frank Leo Chastine, Wayne Chastine, half brother, Walter Bailey "Buddy" Spence.
Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and no formal service will be held. The family will be at the home on Early Drive in Hartwell. Memorials in Mr. Chastine's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478
