James Reed

Mr. James L. Reed age 69 of Nancy Heights in Hartwell, widower of Marie Reed, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on October 09, 1953 in Carnesville, GA to the late James Haskel Reed and Mary Jane Bryson Reed. Mr. Reed served in the National Guard for many years and enjoyed cooking and watching westerns.

He is preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Mr. James L. Reed is survived by his two daughters, Nissa Mitchell (Jason) and Toshia (Keith) Hill. Grandchildren, Dylan (Thea) Mitchell, Dakota (Wimberly) Mitchell, Victoria Mitchell, Karrington "Boo" Mitchell, Kamden Mitchell, Channing Mitchell, Payton (Mallory) Hill and Tessa Hill. One great grandchild, Ashton Marie Mitchell.

Funeral Services for Mr. James Reed will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Ryan Winne officiating. Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Military Honors wil be provided by the U.S. Army.  Visitations will be Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Nissa Mitchell, 184 Brookhaven Way in Bowersville, GA.
