Greg Moon

Mr. Gregory Moon, age 58 of 206 Raven Ridge, Jefferson, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

He was born on August 31, 1959 in Royston, Ga. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 22 years of service as MSgt., and worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Royston Masonic Lodge #52 where he was Grand Mason and Commander of CVMA chapter 25-3

He is survived by: his parents, Tony and Charlotte Weaver Moon of Royston, Ga., wife, Paula Cordell Moon of the home, son, Ryan Moon of Adelaide Australia, daughter, Jennifer Moon of Raleigh, NC, Lucas Temple of Monroe, Ga., and Lisa Richardson of Hartwell, Ga., siblings, Kim Roach, Canon, Ga., Tara Hartman, Hartwell, Ga., Tina Robolin, Winterville, Ga., and Tosha White, Hartwell, Ga.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Three o'clock from the sanctuary of Hartwell First Baptist Church. Dr. Danny Barton will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Air Force. The Combat Veterans Association will serve as honorary escort. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
