Glenda Elaine Norris (Woodward)

Glenda Elaine Woodward Norris, age 76, of Hartwell, GA, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 8, 1944 in Augusta, Ga., to the late Lawtis Jackson Woodward and Daphne Mae Powell Woodward. She was a retired Barber and of the Methodist Faith.

She is survived by her soul-mate, Jimmy Coggins, children, Sonya Gail Turner of Dorchester, S.C., Keith Shawn Norris, Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Andria Michele Adams, Dewy Rose, Ga., siblings, Gretchen Bell, Augusta, Ga., and Lawtis Jackson Woodward, Jr., N. Reddington Beach, FL., grandchildren, Lillian Powell Norris, Corey Kopp, Stephanie Michelle Doster, Randall Keith Doster, Corey Victor Shelton, Amber Elaine Turner, Maggie Mae Adams, James Lewis Adams, and Grace Elaine Adams, Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kirk Mitchell Chavos and sister, Beverly Jean Saunders.

Funeral services honoring the life of Glenda Elaine Norris will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Duane Hall will officiate. The family will be at the home, 35 Woodlake Drive, Apt. 102 in Hartwell. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow the service at the Boathouse Grill, 149 Marina Road, Hartwell, Ga., until 5 p.m.
