Gerald Ramsey

Mr. Gerald Edward Ramsey was born on February 15, 1970, to Mr. Claude Ramsey and Mary E. Scott (Johnny Rucker of Toccoa GA.) He attended and received certificate of CDL from Athens Technical College.

Gerald loved life and lived it to the fullest! He was united in holy matrimony to his loving and faithful wife on January 23, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Annie Mae, Willie (Jack) Scott, Mary Frances Brown and Claude Ramsey.

Gerald leaves to cherish his loving memory; wife, Potasha Ramsey, four daughters; Shaconda Haynie, Jocelyn Ramsey, A'Daijah Jones and Adrian Ramsey. Three sons; Anthony Ramsey, Logan Nichols and Nyzuri Langston. One granddaughter; Carmen Williams. Sisters; Shannon (Horace) Mayfield of Winder, GA., Kimberly (Torrianna) Gore of Canton, GA., Vicki (Gilbert) Gray and Alma Maxwell of Royston, GA., Sheila McIntosh of Hartwell, GA., Doris McCurry of Habersham, GA., one brother; Ralpheal Willis of Royston, GA.; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

A home going celebration will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell with Bishop James Marlon Knox officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Burial will be at Crossroads Baptist Church, Rock Creek Road in Toccoa, Ga.
