Mr. George Talmadge Lewis, age 68 of Lavonia, Ga., peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
He was born on April 30, 1953 in Royston, Ga. to the late Boyd Lewis and Louise Carter Lewis. Mr. Lewis worked in construction and loved playing pool. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Miller Lewis; children, Chris (Christy) Lewis, Hollie Lewis Baird (James “Bill” Smith), Craig (Kristen) Lewis, Chase Lewis, step-daughters; Vanessa Derrett (Harley) and Crystal Prather (Nate), seven grandchildren, brothers; Freddie Lewis and Ronnie Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Tony Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was cremated and under the care of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E Johnson Street, Hartwell, Georgia.
