George Grubbs

Mr. George A. Grubbs, age 82 of Walt Wilson Road, Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He was born on October 7, 1939 in Franklin County, Georgia to the late Belton Grubbs and Merle Haley Grubbs. 

Mr. Grubbs was retired from Monroe Automotive, loved gardening, farming, animals, and children. He was of the Baptist Faith. 

He is survived by his wife; Mary Anne Lecroy Grubbs, son; Terry Grubbs of Lavonia, GA., sister; Janice Phillips of Royston, GA., grandchildren; Dwayne and Jonathon Grubbs. He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Barry Grubbs, siblings; Jimmy Grubbs, Barbara Ralston, Dan Grubbs, Medford Grubbs and his furry companion; Mac. 

Funeral Services for Mr. Grubbs will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at three o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Terry James and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1-3.
