George Terrell Bowers

George Terrell Bowers, age 60, of Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on on February 26, 2024 in Rome, GA.

Mr. Bowers was born on September 18, 1963 in Hartwell, GA . He worked in the family business at Bowers Flooring. He was always a hard worker and an avid outdoors man. He was of the Baptist faith. 

He is survived by his father, Mr. George W. Bowers of Hartwell; wife, Rita Cagle Bowers of Hartwell; children, Mason Bowers (Amanda)of Hartwell, Karlie Wilson (Chris) of Hartwell; siblings, Sharon Morris (Ricky) of Hartwell, Julie Brown (Mark) of Clarkesville; grand children, Marlee and Knox Bowers and Paisley and Porter Wilson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Joyce Adams Bowers; paternal grandparents, Ellis and Lillie Bowers, maternal grandparents, Thurmond and Eva Mae Adams.

Funeral services for Mr. George T. Bowers will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Nancy Hart Memorial Part in Hartwell. At other times the family will be at the home of George Bowers, 5985 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
