Obituary for Gene Augustus Culbreth
Mr. Gene Augustus Culbreth, age 69 of 1915 Brook Lane, Bowman, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Kindred Hospice at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born on February 3, 1948 in Newton County Georgia to the late Augustus Hansel Culbreth and Mary Alice Allen Culbreth. He was a retired long haul truck driver and currently drove a school bus for the Hart County School System. He was of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by; his wife, Shirley Culbreth, daughter, Regina Rudder and her husband, James of Covington, Ga., and his sisters, Nancy McDougald and Janice Culbreth.. Two grandchildren also survive.
Gene wished to be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Culbreth family.
