Mrs. Gatha Wooten Peeples, age 93 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on October 22, 2026 in Toccoa, Ga.

She was born on May 22, 1933 in Lavonia, Ga. She retired from Tenneco Automotive with 35 years of dedicated service.

Left to cherish her memory are; her sons, Danny and Keith Peeples, both of Hartwell, Ga., and daughter, Tracy (Danny) Seawright of Hartwell, Ga. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild survive along with her beloved fur baby "Champ". She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Cooper, husband, Daniel Peeples and siblings, Don Cooper and Teresa Cape.

The family will hold a private crypt side service at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Rev. Richard Jarvis will officiate. Family members will be at their respective homes. No visitation will be held.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
