Gail Gentry

Ms. Carol Gail Pierce Gentry, age 57 of Colbert, Ga., passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Piedmont Athens Regional.

She was born on May 19, 1965 in Athens to the late Edward Pierce. In early years she started a CB Club and she was a member of New Town Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Elizabeth Guest Pierce, daughter, Crystal (Paul) Beusse of Colbert, Ga., siblings, Kendall Weaver of Carlton, Ga., Tony Alford of Comer, Ga., and Melinda Pierce of Colbert, Ga. She was preceded in death by her father, and sister, Martha Sue Weaver.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Carol Gentry will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Four o'clock from New Town Baptist Church in Carlton. Pastor Janice Loggins, Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Johnathan Strickland will officiate. The family will greet guest 3-4 p.m. at the church just prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Family members will be at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
