Mrs. Freddie Ann Glaze "Cooky", age 67, of Hartwell, Georgia, entered into eternal rest during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 14, 2026.Born on May 2, 1959, in Hartwell, Georgia, Freddie was the beloved daughter of Annie Lucille McIntosh-Rayton and the late Luther Rayton.
She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, family, and friend whose life was defined by faith, compassion, and an unwavering love for others.Freddie dedicated much of her life to caring for people through her vast work in Healthcare. Whether aiding patients, supporting family, or encouraging friends, she possessed a servant's heart and a gentle spirit that made everyone feel valued and loved. She never met a stranger and found great joy in helping others, sharing a kind word, and simply loving people. A woman of compassion and grace. As the faithful Christian she was, Freddie loved the Lord and enjoyed worship, music of all kinds, and dancing.Her warm smile, caring nature, and joyful personality will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her father, Freddie was preceded in death by her husband, David Glaze; her sister, Cheryl Bates; and her grandmother, Aslee McIntosh.Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Annie Lucille McIntosh Rayton; her children, Roger Rayton (Nikki Burton), Sondra Anderson, Felicia McIntosh, and Rodrickus McIntosh; her brothers, Luther Rayton and Randy Rayton; and her sister, Gloria Oglesby.She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Levi Rayton, Damajo Rayton, Nevaéh Anderson, Londyn McIntosh, Miley McIntosh, and Lyric McIntosh, along with great-grandchildren, Andrew Oglesby, Le'Asia Rayton, and Zakahari Rayton.
In addition to her immediate family, Freddie leaves behind a host of adored nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and the love she shared so freely.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Felicia McIntosh, 139 King Drive, Hartwell, Georgia 30643.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors to assist the family with funeral expenses.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, GA 30643.
