Mr. Fred "Freddy" Wayne Scott age 75, of Hartwell, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Born July 10, 1950 in Royston, GA he was the son of the late Fred and Iva Mae (Jordan) Scott. Freddy Wayne enjoyed Fishing and working with his hands in the construction industry, but most of all he enjoyed and loved his grandchildren who were the light of his life.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Evans

.Left to cherish his memory is his sons Joseph Scott(Sarah) and Christopher Scott. One daughter Teela Scott. siblings Peggy Wood (Herman), Shelby Roach (Homer), Faye Morris (Charles), and Myrtle Hart (Barney). 

Papa will also be remembered by Thomas, Bailey, Summer, Hayden, Lyam, Brayden, Matthew, and Madisyn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Carnesville Church of God.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
