Mr. Frank Buren Smith, age 80 of Bowersville, GA passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at his home. Born June 4, 1945 he was the son of the late Hoke Harrison and Viola Pearl ( Hulsey) Smith. Frank was of the Baptist faith, and was a small business owner having owned an auto salvage yard.  In his spare time Frank enjoyed deer hunting, old cars, as well as caring for his animals and spending time in the outdoors. 

In addition to his parents Frank is preceded in death by his brother Alton Gene Smith and sister Virginia Louise Smith. 

Frank leaves behind one son John Buren Smith (Paula). Grandchildren Alexa Paige Berrong, Franklin David Smith, Viola Ann Smith and Roxi Jane Smith. Great granddaughter Everleigh Pearl Hambrick. Nephew Robert McDuffie (Salley) and Niece Barbara McDuffie, as well as great nieces; Amanda, Alyssa, Crystal, and Candice. 

In lieu of any formal services being scheduled at this time the family invites you to spend time with those you love, and remember a fond memory of Frank as you spend time in nature's beauty. Frank's family would like to also say thank you to his caretaker Jackie Harbert for her care and compassion. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA.
