Frances Faulkner

Mrs. Frances Bowers Faulkner, age 85 of Mt. Olivet Road in Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at NHC Healthcare, Anderson, S.C.

She was born April 27, 1937 in Hartwell to the late Seaborn Ellis Bowers and Lillie Carnes Bowers. Frances was a homemaker and member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are; her sister, Carolyn Reid of Hartwell, Ga., and brother, George Bowers of Hartwell, Ga., She was preceded in death by her parents,  husband, Eugene F. Faulkner, children, George Michael Geddings and Sherri Lynn Geddings, siblings, Durwood Bowers, Dennis Bowers, Ruby Nell Tucker, Eula Mae Thrasher, Judson Bowers, Thomas Bowers, James Bowers, Arnold Bowers and Ann Madden.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 12-1 at the funeral home and following the visitation a brief committal and burial service will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Pastor Grant Myerholtz officiating.

 Family members are at their respective homes.

The family would like to thank NHC of Anderson station 5 employees for all the care and support for Frances and her family and CARIS Healthcare and especially Tim for all the support and care shown during her illness.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 53 Perimeter Center E Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30346  

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
