Frances Jordan Brown

Frances Jordan Brown of Beacon Light Road, Hartwell Ga, passed away at her home, on November the 17th 2022.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Julius ‘Jute’ Brown and infant son Joe Gregory.  She was born on March 30,1934 to the late Lesher Jordan and Buiest Motes Jordan.    

She was a devoted member of Mt Olivet Baptist Church and served in many capacities during her lifetime.  She retired from Bellcraft.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her son Steve [Denise] Brown: grandchildren, Dr Brande Brown, Heather [Adam] Long; Great grandchildren: Madison, Micah and  Gweneth Long;  siblings: Hazel Welborn, Patsy {Billy] Maxwell;  Charles Willam [Mary Donna]  Jordan. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm at Mt Olivet Baptist Church on December 03 for family and friends. Services will be officiated by Steve Brown and Pastor Jason Webb.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made  to Mt Olivet Baptist Church.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
