Mrs. Eula Ree (Maxwell) Tate age 75 of 138 Opal Street Extension, Hartwell GA passed away peacefully on August 30, 2023 at Upstate Hospice.
She was born on May 22, 1948 to the late Mr. Talmadge (Coot) Maxwell and the late Mrs. Emma Sue Blackwell Maxwell. She was a homemaker and a member of Ruckers Grove Baptist Church and attended Trinity Outreach Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her sweet memories are Mr. Willie Roy Tate; sons Royce (Sharon) Tate and Sebastian (Pamela Teasley) Tate; grandchildren, Royauntavious Tate, Zechariah Tate, Andreesha Teasley, Da'Queesha Teasley, and Ren Tate; 13 great grandchildren, special daughter, Shirley Head and special son Patrick Maxwell. Brother, George (Marns) Maxwell, sisters, Melzie McIntosh and Phyllis Thomson. Nephews and nieces, Talmadge (Peggy) Maxwell, Lydia (Larry) Shumaker, Wanda (Ken) Gaines, Bridgett (Joe) Carter, Sharon (George) Hill; brother in law, Reverend Ottis Tate, Merrith Turner; sister in law, Marrie Tate.
She is preceded in death by her parents, great grandson, Chance Teasley; Pamela Tate; brother, Elder Talmadge and (Francis) Etta Maxwell, John E. Maxwell; sister Era C. Maxwell, sister Pearle Joe (Rufus) Turner, sister Evelyn (Coy) Mattox, and Jimmie McIntosh, Willie Thompson, Sharon Maxwell Hill, and Lola Mae Tate.
Funeral service will be held on September 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with a 1 hour visitation prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Ruckers Grove Baptist Church.
